The Salvation ArmyThe Salvation Army wishes you a Happy New Year!
---------------
The men meet in the fellowship hall at the Fountain Valley Salvation Army. Mike cooks a great breakfast! We have started a study on Practical Holiness. Join us for this time of fellowship. See Paul or Lt Craig if you have questions. (Every Month third Saturday)
As we welcome the Summerfield's we also said thanks to Major's Ray and Elaine Cross for coming out of retirement to serve the Fountain Valley area for almost two years.
The Summerfield's come to us from Hawaii and are ready to meet everyone and assume their duties here. They will have a busy schedule right from the start and we are looking forward to serving Fountain Valley.
We serve our neighborhood and around the world. It is our mission to help those in need. Your help in supporting that goal is always welcome. Whether you want to volunteer or make a donation, stop by our offices at 901 N. Santa Fe, in Fountain, CO or call 382-1182 for more information.
Watch for the next scheduled class to learn about The Salvation Army. This class provides answers for who The Salvation Army is and what they believe and why they are so involved in helping others.
Cadets had a great time with our teens and youth leaders on Friday night. See photos of some of the skits. Thanks Julie for putting this together.

Dave and Kim Barnett are our trainers for "Safe From Harm", a first class program designed to make the workers (volunteers and staff) aware of the danger signs of those who would endanger children and young adults. Their class is approxiamately 3.5 hours long. Dave and Kim are certified by The Salvation Army to conduct this training. Thank you Dave and Kim for investing the time to get certified as trainers and for our trainers. |
